The Best Connection in Poole is recruiting for HGV Class 1 Day Drivers to work with a range of clients around Dorset. The role suits drivers seeking flexible shifts or extra income, with day shifts and immediate starts available.

Pay rates start at £17-£18 per hour with overtime up to £32 per hour. Weekly pay, online payslips and a support team are provided by The Best Connection Group Limited, with ongoing opportunities throughout 2026.

Qualifications

• Full UK Class 1 Driving Licence is required.
• Digi Tacho Card is required.
• CPC Qualification Card is required.

Responsibilities

• Trunking, tramping, multi-drop and shunting tasks on HGV Class 1 vehicles.
• Flexible shifts to suit availability.
• Occasional shifts and ongoing assignments with potential permanent positions.

Pay Rates:

Basic: £17ph-£18ph

Overtime: £26ph - £32ph

The Best Connection in Poole are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Day Drivers for a wide range of established clients in and around the Dorset area.

This role is suited to drivers who are looking for occasional shifts, extra income or flexibility to suit your availability.

What you need...
