Job summary

Pertemps Southampton is seeking an experienced Container Driver for an ongoing role in Southampton. You will drive containers to and from the docks, supporting the client with timely deliveries and efficient logistics.

The position starts early at 6am, Monday to Friday, with 10-hour shifts. Overtime pay is available, and PAYE rate is £18.50 per hour. A valid UK licence, HGV Class 1 qualification, CPC/Digi Tacho, and a DP World Pass (provided if needed) are required.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Driving Licence (Max. 6pts).
• Valid HGV Class 1 Qualification with 6+ commercial HGV Class 1 C+E experience.
• Container experience preferred.
• DP World Pass required (but can be provided).
• Valid CPC/Digi Tacho.
• Safety Boots & High Vis (provided if needed).

Responsibilities

• Deliver containers to and from docks as part of road work.
• Support client in Southampton ASAP.
