Job summary

Pertemps Southampton are recruiting Temp to Perm Class 1 Drivers to start with our Client in Southampton ASAP. You will be responsible for the delivery of products to ports across the UK!

6am starts, Mon to Fri, with 1/2 nights out per week during peak season and occasional weekend work. Benefits include holiday leave, life assurance, EAP, and pension enrolment after 12 weeks.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Driving Licence (Max. 6pts).
• Valid HGV Class 1 Qualification (6 months experience essential).
• Valid CPC/Digi Tacho.
• Safety Boots & High Vis (Provided if needed).

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to ports across the UK.
• Start time is 6am and follow Monday to Friday schedule.
• Occasional weekend work or night outs during peak season (1/2 nights out per week).
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements and company procedures.

Education

Valid UK Driving Licence (Max. 6pts)

Valid HGV Class 1 Qualification (6 months experience essential)

Valid CPC/Digi Tacho

£41500 per year BASIC + additional payments for weekend work and nights out

Mon to Fri

1/ 2 nights out a week and work either a Saturday or Sunday every other week during peak season

25 days holiday per year + Bank holidays
