Job summary

Driver Hire is offering regular, ongoing HGV driving work from our Cleckheaton depot. We require experienced Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) drivers with valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card. Early starts from 03:30–07:00, Saturday work, handball involved, and store deliveries are part of the role.

Successful applicants can start immediately after induction. Full training will be provided and ongoing workload offers long-term opportunities with a professional transport team.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) vehicles delivering to stores and customer locations.
• Open and close stores during deliveries and carry out delivery paperwork.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure goods are delivered safely and on time.
• Handball required; represent the company professionally at customer sites.

Are you an experienced HGV Class 1 or Class 2 Driver looking for regular, ongoing work?

We are currently recruiting reliable and professional HGV Drivers to work from our client's depot in Cleckheaton, with consistent work available for the right drivers.

With various early start times between 03:30 and 07:00, this is an excellent opportunity for drivers who prefer getting on the road early and finishing earlier in the day.

The Role

• HGV Class 1 (C+E) and Class 2 (C) driving
• Regular, ongoing work

• Handball involved, so drivers must be comfortable with manual handling
• Drivers will be required to open and close stores when making deliveries

Full Training Provided

All drivers will be required to successfully complete the induction process before starting the role.

Requirements

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) licence
• Valid Driver CPC

• Previous HGV driving experience preferred
• Comfortable with early starts
• Willing to work Saturdays
• Comfortable with handball/manual handling
• Professional and reliable approach
