Job summary

The Best Connection Group in Skelmersdale is recruiting a Class 1 (C+E) Driver for nationwide trunking work. You will operate trailers with no handball, starting around 6:00am, Monday to Friday, for ongoing, stable weekday shifts.

This role offers PAYE pay at £16 per hour plus a £25 night out allowance, with holiday pay kept separate. No physical loading/unloading and a reliable schedule across sites.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph card required.
• Professional, reliable and safety-focused driver.

We're recruiting an additional Class 1 (HGV C+E) Driver based in Skelmersdale due to increased workload and the introduction of a new unit.

The Role

• Nationwide deliveries to various customers sites, trunking work with minimal drops.
• No handball - strictly trailer moves and pulling curtains.
• Start times vary, typically from around 6:00am.
• Long-term, ongoing work with a stable, reliable schedule.
• Monday to Friday
• £16.00 per hour PAYE/£25 night out allowance (HOLIDAYS PAID SEPERATE)
• Holiday pay accrued into a separate pot for paid time off!
• Consistent, ongoing weekday work
• No physical loading/unloading
