Job summary

Top Tier Recruitment is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers based in Skelmersdale. This is a full-time, ongoing role with immediate starts, offering competitive hourly pay, modern vehicles and a well-established transport operation.

You will transport palletised and general haulage goods across the UK, often staying away from home during the week, and perform daily vehicle safety checks while delivering a high standard of service.

Qualifications

• Full UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good knowledge of Driver Hours Regulations.
• Professional and reliable attitude.
• Previous tramping experience preferred.

Job Overview

• Position: HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver (C+E)
• Location: Skelmersdale
• Job Type: Full-Time, Ongoing

Shift & Pay Rates

• Monday–Friday Days HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver £19.50
• Saturday & Sunday Days HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver £21.00

The Role

Drivers will be transporting a variety of palletised and general haulage goods across the UK, ensuring deliveries and collections are completed safely, efficiently and on time.

This is a tramping position, so drivers will be away from home during the working week.

Typical duties include:

• Driving HGV Class 1 (C+E) articulated vehicles
• Nationwide deliveries and collections
• Transporting palletised and general haulage goods
• Completing daily vehicle safety checks
• Maintaining accurate delivery paperwork

Candidate Requirements

• Full UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
• Valid Driver CPC

Pay & Benefits
