Job summary

Panda is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for a full-time, permanent role at the Wolverhampton depot (WV1 2HS). You will earn £14.50 per hour with overtime x1.5 after 45 hours, plus daily bonuses and allowances. The role involves loading, transporting fridges and electrical waste with a curtain-sider vehicle and tail lift.

The position runs Monday to Friday from 05:00, with a 30-minute unpaid break. ADR and CPC requirements apply, and a valid UK C+E licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Category C+E licence and Driver CPC card required.
• ADR licence required and up-to-date tachograph knowledge.
• Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 1 Artic vehicles with tail lifts safely and efficiently.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain CPC and tachograph compliance.
• Secure curtain-side loads and ensure safe handling of refrigerators and household waste.
• Communicate clearly with transport desk and site teams to coordinate deliveries.
