Job summary

Cleansing Service Group Limited (CSG) is looking for a professional HGV driver based at Sheffield to join our team and support waste collection services across commercial and industrial sites. The role covers 40 hours per week, with overtime options and a rewarding on-call rota.

The suitable candidate will hold a HGV Class 1 licence (C+E), a digi-card and an ADR licence, with a flexible approach and excellent customer service skills. Training and progression opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• A HGV class 1 licence (C+E).
• Possession of a digi-card.
• A valid ADR licence.
• A flexible approach to the role will also be essential.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collection of different types of hazards and non-Hazards liquid waste.
• Visiting commercial and industrial customer sites to complete waste collections.
• Carrying out vehicle and equipment checks and ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with relevant legislation.
• Completing required paperwork and documentation accurately
• Working closely with the transport depot and colleagues to ensure collections are completed efficiently and customers receive an excellent service.
• Carrying out some physical work, including manual handling and lifting equipment such as pipes.
• Participating in an on-call rota and responding to out-of-hours emergency work when required
• Representing the company professionally when dealing with customers and members of the public.
