Job summary

HG Recruitment is seeking HGV drivers in Liverpool to transport hazardous waste materials using specialist tanker vehicles. The role involves about 23 collections/deliveries per day, Monday–Friday with weekend work and occasional nights out, ensuring ADR compliance and safe transportation.

Full training and PPE are provided; previous tanker experience is advantageous but not essential. This temp-to-perm opportunity offers long-term career prospects with 24/7 support from the team.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 licence with at least 6 months experience.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• ADR certificate required.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Good knowledge of driving hours and Working Time rules.
• Previous tanker experience is advantageous but not essential.

• Overtime if applicable (Over 40 hours £27.86)

***Estimated weekly pay Days: £1160.70 per week based on 55 hrs***

The role:

Requirements

You must have:

• A valid UK HGV Class 1 licence - minimum 6 months experience
