Job summary

Solvit Recruitment are seeking a HGV Class 1 ADR Driver for a Leicester based role. This is not temporary and offers potential for permanent placement after 13 weeks. Working Monday to Friday with early start times (04:00–07:00) and occasional weekend work; overtime paid after 40 hours.

You will make deliveries and collections with a curtainsider, ensuring loads are secured and regulatory requirements for hazardous waste transport are met. Training and onboarding available.

Qualifications

• 2 years C&E experience.
• In date ADR certificate.
• CPC and Tachograph (Tacho) certification.
• No DR, DD, TT or IN10.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Deliver and collect loads using a curtainsider; ensure load is secure.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations; complete paperwork.
• Overtime paid after 40 hours.

Solvit Recruitment are looking for HGV Class 1 ADR Driver.

This is not temporary role.

Temp to Perm weekly pay for the first 13 weeks.

You will have the opportunity for an Interview where you will meet the team learn more about the role and have the opportunity to ask your own questions.

Working for a UK market leader for hazardous and specialist waste who operates a Total Waste Management division, which offers a full-service solution from site visits and sampling to container supply and transportation.

Working Monday to Friday start times between 04:00 - 07:00 with the option of weekends when required. Overtime paid after 40 hours per week.

You will have deliveries and collections throughout your working day you will have a curtainsider where you will make sure the load is secure and close the curtains; every day will be different, planned nights out required, which you will get prior notice.

Ensuring full compliance with all current regulations concerning the transportation of hazardous waste materials.

Rate of Pay

• Monday to Friday £16.50 over time paid after 40 hours at £24.75
• Saturday £24.75
• Sunday £33.00

Requirements

• Perform pre-trip and post trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Tanker driver experience.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication oral and written.
• Complete all paperwork.
• 2 years C&E experience.
• In date ADR certificate.
• CPC and Tacho.
• No DR, DD, TT or IN10.
