DHL Supply Chain is recruiting permanent HGV Class 1 and Class 2 drivers for the Co-op Wholesale Distribution Centre in Wellingborough. The role offers a 42-hour week with a pay rate of £39,245 per year, and a structured rota including early starts and long shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Multi-drop experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong safety awareness and compliance mindset.
• Reliable, professional, and customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Store deliveries to Co-op Wholesale locations.
• Multi-drop work on planned routes - average 11 drops per day.
• Delivering chilled, frozen, and ambient goods.
• Use of cages, dollies, and pallets depending on delivery type using electric pump truck.
• Driving in line with Drivers' Hours and WTD regulations.
• Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork.
• Maintaining high health & safety standards.
• Providing a professional and friendly service at store level.
