Job summary

Rapier Employment are recruiting an HGV Class 1 driver for our busy client in Newark. The role is long-term ongoing with PAYE rates.

Night shifts involve delivering to RDCs and stores, with unloading using tail lift and MHE, plus regular vehicle checks. Candidates should hold an HGV C+E licence for at least 12 months, have a minimum of 3 months commercial experience, a Digital Tachograph Card and CPC qualification.

Qualifications

• Held HGV C+E licence for 12+ months.
• Minimum 3 months commercial driving experience for insurance purposes.
• Digital Tachograph Card and CPC qualification.
• No DR10, CD10 or IN10 offences; max 6 points on licence.

Responsibilities

• Delivering to RDCs and stores (Nights RDCs only).

Rapier Employment are currently seeking an HGV Class 1 driver for our busy client in Newark. This role will be long term ongoing for the right candidates.

This role does require some manual handling.

Responsibilities will include:

• Delivering to RDCs and stores. (Nights RDC's only)
• Stores deliveries will be unloading using tail lift and MHE equipment.
• Vehicle checks
• Shift patterns to suit.
• Days
• Days between 0400 - 0900
• £19.40ph Monday to Friday
• £21.57ph Saturday
• £212.66ph Sunday
• All rates are PAYE
• Nights
• Nights: 15:00 - 21:00 starts
• £21.57ph Monday to Sunday
• £21.57ph Saturday
• £22.66 Sunday
• All rates are PAYE

The ideal candidate.

• Held your HGV C+E licence for at least 12 months
• You must have at least 3 months commercial experience for insurance purposes
• “Can do” attitude
• No DR10's No CD10's No IN10's- NO MORE THAN 6 POINTS
