Job summary

The Best Connection Portsmouth are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Fareham for a HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver.

You will be required to work as part of a team and collect commercial and domestic waste rounds in the Fareham and surrounding areas. Hours: 05:40-06:00 starts each day. 37 hour weeks. Training provided if you have no prior refuse experience. You will need a valid HGV2 licence, CPC and Digi card, with overtime and holiday pay applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience in refuse work is preferred but training is provided.
• Valid HGV Class 2 licence is required.
• CPC qualification and Digi card mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Collect commercial and domestic waste rounds in Fareham and surrounding areas.
• Work as part of a team and adhere to schedule.
• Ensure vehicle checks are completed and start times observed.

Pay Rates:

£15.07ph Monday to Friday

£22.6ph overtime rate

£45.21ph for Bank Holidays

Hours of work:

Monday to Friday only

05:40-06:00 starts each day

37 hour hour weeks (overtime paid for daily vehicle checks)

You will be required to have:

HGV Class 2 C Licence

CPC

Digi card

Experience with previous refuse work if preferred but not essential as training is provided.
