Job summary

Driver Hire Northampton & Daventry is seeking a 7.5T driver based in Wellingborough to deliver customer products across the UK. Typical duties include 1–5 deliveries per day with offloads by FLT/crane when possible.

You must hold a valid C1 licence with Tachograph and CPC, have no more than 6 points, and possess at least 12 months 7.5T driving experience. PODs must be completed on each delivery.

Qualifications

• Valid C1 licence (7.5T).
• Valid Tachograph and CPC.
• No more than 6 points or major offences.
• Minimum 12 months 7.5T driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries to clients across the UK.
• Approximately 1–5 deliveries per day.
• No handball required; FLT/crane may offload.
• Ensure PODs are completed after each delivery.
• Deliver fragile items with care and attention to detail.

Driver Hire are currently recruiting for a 7.5T driver for our client based in Wellingborough.

The role:

• Delivery of customer products to clients across the UK
• Approximately 1 - 5 deliveries per day
• No handball required as most deliveries will be lifted off by FLT or Crane
• Attention detail to ensure correct product is delivered
• Fragile items so care to be taken when delivering
• Ensuring POD's (Proof of Deliveries) are completed at each customer

Shift pattern & Pay

Mon -Fri

07:00am start onwards

Minimum 8-hour shift, some longer days if busy

£13.50ph PAYE (Accrued holiday pay)

£15.13ph PAYE Adv (including holiday)

Skills / qualifications

• Valid C1 licence (7.5T)
