Job summary

DriverForce UK Ltd is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our Barking operation for temporary ongoing work. You will undertake multidrop palletised deliveries, using tail lifts and manual pump trucks, with a focus on safety and reliability.

Ideal candidates hold a valid LGV C (Class 2) licence, Driver CPC (or DQC) and Digi Tacho Card, with no more than 6 penalty points. The role offers consistent hours, weekend uplift during busy periods, and a supportive team.

• Experience with multidrop deliveries and tail lifts.
• Good geographic knowledge of Essex and surrounding areas.

About the Role

You will be responsible for undertaking multidrop palletised deliveries, using a tail lift and operating a manual pump truck where you will unload at delivery / collection point or where goods will be either forklifted on / off.

About You

• We’re looking for a reliable and safety-conscious driver with the right experience and a strong work ethic.
• Full LGV C (Class 2) licence holder
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence
• Driver CPC qualified or Valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC) and Digi Tacho Card
• Reasonable level of fitness due to the nature of the role; dealing with heavy goods/manual handling
• Good geographic knowledge of Essex and surrounding areas
• A positive, can-do attitude
• Excellent communication skills at all levels towards both customers and colleagues
• Previous multi drop experience is required
