Job summary

Driver Hire Sunderland & Durham is seeking a Class 2 HIAB driver to cover adhoc assignments for our clients in the region. Deliveries may be domestic or commercial, playing a vital role in the smooth running of transport operations.

This is a temporary position, with potential to convert to permanent employment. Applicants must hold LGV2 entitlement, CPC and digital tachograph, plus HIAB accreditation, and be prepared for overtime rates.

Qualifications

• Category C (LGV2) entitlement on the driving licence.
• Valid CPC and digital tachograph.
• Valid HIAB accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to domestic and commercial premises across the region.
• Support transport operations to ensure smooth deliveries.
• Work on a temporary basis with potential for ongoing/permanent work.

Driver Hire Sunderland & Durham are looking for class 2 HIAB driver’s covering adhoc requirements for our number of our clients based around the region.

Delivering for various clients in a a number of different industries, deliveries can involve delivering to both domestic and commercial premises, ensuring you play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the transport and logistics operations.

This is a temporary position, but opportunities to pick up permanent employment is a possibility.

Requirements

• Category C (LGV2) entitlement on the driving licence
• Valid CPC and digital tachograph
• Valid HIAB accreditation

Rate of pay is £16.25 for the first 8hrs, followed by £23.00 per hour after 8hrs for any overtime.
