Job summary

SUEZ in the West of England is looking for a dedicated driver to join our local waste collections team. You will operate Romaquip vehicles and be involved in loading household waste and recycling, ensuring reliable, high-quality service to residents.

Newly qualified drivers welcome as well as experienced drivers; full training provided. We offer a £2,000 joining bonus, competitive salary with overtime, BUPA dental plan, Cycle to Work, Costco membership, childcare vouchers and a healthy work/life

Qualifications

• Class 2 (Category C) licence, valid CPC card and Tachograph card.
• Newly qualified drivers welcome, as well as experienced drivers.
• A reliable, safety-focused attitude with good communication skills.

• Drive the vehicle and assist with loading of household waste and recycling as part of the team.

Job description

What will I be doing?

• You will be responsible for both driving the vehicle and supporting with the loading of household waste and recycling, working as part of a team to complete daily collections efficiently.
• Delivering a reliable, high-quality service to residents
• Always working to strict health & safety standards

You’ll primarily operate Romaquip vehicles, with RCVs (Refuse Collection Vehicles) as required giving you variety in your day-to-day work.

What are the requirements?

• Class 2 (Category C) licence, valid CPC card and Tachograph card
• Newly qualified drivers welcome, as well as experienced drivers
• A reliable, safety-focused attitude with good communication skills
• A team player with a strong work ethic
• Waste, Romaquip or RCV experience is advantageous but not essential as full training is provided.
