Job summary

Manpower UK is seeking an HGV 2 Driver for a temporary placement based in Glasgow. The role runs for an initial four weeks, with Monday to Friday dayshift, and offers £18.00 to £27.00 per hour with weekly pay.

Immediate start and ongoing support from Manpower Scotland are provided. You will handle Class 2 deliveries and collections, loading and unloading, daily vehicle checks, and ensure paperwork and transport compliance are met.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence.
• Valid CPC.
• Valid Digital Tachograph.
• Previous Class 2 experience.
• Good knowledge of transport compliance.
• Able to commit to the full 4-week assignment.

Job description

Manpower UK seeks an HGV 2 Driver for temporary work based in Glasgow, paying £18.00 to £27.00 per hour. This Monday to Friday dayshift assignment begins immediately and initially runs four weeks. Duties include Class 2 deliveries and collections, loading and unloading goods, occasional hand balling, plus transporting items to customers and other depots. The driver completes daily vehicle checks, reports defects, and ensures paperwork is accurate. Safe, compliant driving and adherence to site and transport procedures are essential. Applicants need a valid HGV Class 2 licence, CPC, Digital Tachograph card, prior Class 2 experience, and solid knowledge of transport compliance. Weekly pay is provided. HGV 2 Driver - Glasgow £18.00 per hour Monday to Friday - Dayshift Immediate Start. Manpower Scotland is recruiting for an HGV 2 Driver to support our client in Aberdeen on a temporary basis. This role starts as soon as possible and runs for an initial 4 week period.
