Job summary

Blue Arrow in Preston is seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers with at least 6 months of Class 1 experience. Start times around 09:00 am. You will deliver and collect, assist with loading, and use handheld devices.

The role offers weekly pay, competitive hourly rates, overtime after 40 hours, and support from dedicated driving consultants, with flexible assignments across our client network.

HGV Class 1 Driver - Preston Area

Blue Arrow is currently recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers with a minimum of 6 month's Class 1 driving experience for our client based in the Preston area.

The Role

Start time: 09: 00 am

• Assisting with the loading of your vehicles at the start of the shift
• Delivering goods to various customer sites
• Assisting with unloading at delivery locations
• Using a handheld scanning device to record deliveries and collections
• Representing the client professionally and providing excellent customer service

Pay Rates

• £19.08 per hour for the first 40 hours worked per week
• £27.26 per hour for all hours worked over 40 hours

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) License
• Minimum 6 month's HGV Class 1 driving experience
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
• In-date Digital Tachograph Card
• Good communication skills
• Ability to assist with loading and unloading duties
