Pertemps Bond in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking an experienced HGV Driver (Class 1) for regular, ongoing work at a busy depot. The role involves safe loading and unloading of parcels, and driving single and double-deck trailers on a 24-hour operation with varied start times.

Pay is PAYE from £21.44 to £24.57 per hour with shifts typically 10–12 hours; weekend work is required. Applicants should have at least 1 year of Class 1 experience, a C+E licence, CPC card, tachograph card and max 6 points.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year of HGV Class 1 driving experience, with recent Class 1 work within the last 6 months.
• A valid C+E licence, CPC card, and digital tachograph card.
• A maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements).

Responsabilidades

• Safely loading and unloading cages of letters and parcels.
• Working with both single and double-deck trailers, with some pushing and pulling involved.
• Average 10–12 hour shifts.
• Various start times as this is a 24-hour operation.
• Weekend work is required for this role.

HGV 1 Driver - Stoke-on-Trent

Pertemps are looking for an experienced HGV Driver / LGV1 Driver / Class 1 Driver / C+E Driver to join our client’s busy depot based in Stoke-on-Trent. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing, regular work, with competitive PAYE rates.

Regular block bookings available from 1st November!

Location: Stoke-on-Trent

Pay rates: From £21.44 to £24.57 per hour (PAYE)

Hours: 10 – 12hour duties
