Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services in the United Kingdom is seeking a Helpdesk Team Manager to lead the Mitie Helpdesk Operation, ensuring efficient creation of work orders, accurate updates and high levels of customer service. You will drive service performance and contribute to financial targets.

You will supervise a designated team, coach staff, manage rota planning, support cross-functional service areas, and ensure compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience managing a team and delivering customer service.
• Must pass background checks (PSNI BS5979 and BS7858) and provide 5-year history.

Responsibilities

• Lead the helpdesk team to ensure duties are completed to a high standard.
• Coach and develop staff; identify training needs and performance improvements.
• Oversee job creation and provide accurate updates and high-quality customer service.
• Manage rota planning, holidays, and flexible working; support other service areas as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and company procedures.
