Job summary

Safran UK is seeking a Helicopter Engine Maintenance Technician to perform inspections, maintenance and overhaul on Safran helicopter engines at Fareham or on customer sites. You will diagnose faults, replace components and ensure all work meets aviation regulations and quality standards.

You will contribute to engine evaluations, documentation and on-site support, with flexibility for site work and a hybrid working arrangement depending on role and project needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in aircraft or helicopter engine maintenance, repair or overhaul.
• Strong understanding of aviation maintenance procedures and regulations.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and maintenance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out engine inspections, evaluations and maintenance activities.
• Diagnosing faults and identifying repair requirements.
• Performing engine strip, assembly and component replacement activities.
• Conducting borescope inspections, leak checks and functional testing.
• Recording maintenance findings and completing technical documentation.
• Supporting engine overhaul, repair and return-to-service activities.
• Ensuring compliance with aviation regulations, quality standards and company procedures.
