What You'll Do

As a Hedge Fund Tax Consultant, your role will be multifaceted. You'll be responsible for preparing numbers and disclosures for audited financial statements, reviewing direct and indirect tax returns prepared by service providers, and maintaining a compliance calendar. Your expertise will also be required in assisting with transfer pricing matters, handling employment tax-related issues, managing reporting requirements under various regulations, ensuring an effective tax documentation management system is maintained, providing support on tax advisory matters, documenting tax risk and control processes, and more. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Prepare numbers and disclosures for audited financial statements
• Review direct and indirect tax returns prepared by service providers
• Maintain a compliance calendar to manage tax filing requirements and payments
• Assist with transfer pricing matters including collating information for global documentation
• Handle employment tax related matters, including short-term business visitor reporting
• Manage reporting requirements under CBCR, FATCA, CRS, and Pillar Two
• Ensure effective tax documentation management system is maintained
• Provide support on tax advisory matters and ad hoc tax queries
• Document tax risk and control processes for UK and international tax compliance obligations
  
  

What You Bring

The ideal candidate for the Hedge Fund Tax Consultant position brings more than just qualifications. With over 2 years of experience in tax compliance and reporting within a professional services firm or in-house tax team, you are fully qualified (ACA, CTA or equivalent) with a strong work ethic. Your self-motivation drives you to be detail-oriented in your work. Your strong analytical skills allow you to make sound judgments when necessary. Above all else, your excellent interpersonal skills enable you to effectively collaborate with both internal teams and external service providers.
