Job summary

Royal Mail Swindon Workshop is seeking a Level 3 qualified vehicle technician to perform inspections, diagnostics and repairs on a fleet of light and heavy vehicles in a modern workshop. You will work a rotating shift pattern and be part of a team focused on reliability and safety.

The role offers progression opportunities, a pension scheme, training plans, and an enhanced benefits package. Applicants should have a Level 3 qualification and a full UK manual licence; weekend shifts are included

Qualifications

• Fully qualified to Level 3 in Light or Heavy vehicle
• Own toolkit for standard repairs
• Experience on a wide range of vehicles (LCV/HGV)
• Hold a full UK manual driving licence, ideally HGV with trailer experience
• Willing to work a flexible shift rota

Responsibilities

• Perform full range of inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on vehicles, trailers and mechanical equipment.
• Work in a modern workshop using specialist tooling and your own tools for light/heavy vehicle maintenance and repair.
