Job summary

Eddie Stobart and Culina Group invite you to join a Heavy Vehicle Technician Apprenticeship, a 3-year programme designed to develop you into a fully qualified technician. You’ll train at the GTG Training Academy and gain exposure to modern and electric fleets while working in a hands-on workshop.

From day one you’ll be paid a full-time role (40 hours/week) with comprehensive training, assessments, and ongoing career development under experienced mentors in a supported environment.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in vehicles or mechanics.
• Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain heavy vehicles.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections.
• Diagnose faults across mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Work on engines, transmissions, braking systems, and EV technology.
• Support workshop operations while maintaining high safety standards.
