Job summary

Logical Personnel Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a leading SME for Platers in Scunthorpe. This is contract work on heavy duty equipment, with on-site maintenance and plate work in a harsh environment, typically around 25mm plate.

Essentially you will need recognised qualifications, relevant heavy industrial site exposure, a valid Health & Safety card, and your own tools. Long-term contracts and overtime are available.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of heavy duty equipment to spec, including plated structures
• Carry out over-plating, splices, gusset repairs and crack repairs
• Work typically on 25mm plate in a hot, heavy industrial environment
• Planned and reactive maintenance on site
