Job summary

A leading engineering recruitment firm is seeking a Plating Supervisor for a major industrial site in Grimsby. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with plating and fabrication while also managing a small team. Responsibilities include coordinating site works, adhering to health and safety procedures, and managing paperwork. Required qualifications include a CCNSG card, NVQ 3 in Plating trade, and IOSH certification. Previous industrial site experience is essential. This position may extend throughout the year.

Job description

The Role

Integrate Engineering Resources are currently recruiting for an additional working Plating Supervisors for a major industrial site in Grimsby. Duties will include:

Hands on plating and fabrication

Managing and coordinating plating works on site

Liaising and working closely with the senior project management team & client

Leading the a small team of platers on site, assigning tasks

Following completion work packs

Adhering to site H&S procedures

Assisting with paperwork management; RFI's, method statements, risk assessments, permits to work, site diaries, progress reports.

The work will likely be extended throughout the year as part of ongoing maintenance.

Requirements

CCNSG card

NVQ 3 or equivalent in Plating trade

IOSH certificate

Previous experience of working on industrial sites
