Job summary

Logical Personnel Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a leading SME in heavy duty mechanical and structural maintenance within the engineering and process sectors. We require Welders in Scunthorpe for contract positions.

On-site work involves structural steel repair on heavy plant equipment, predominantly MMA welding of carbon steel and MIG welding of mild steel. Candidates should have recognised industry qualifications, HSE card, and own tools.

Qualifications

• Recognised industry qualifications required.
• MMA welding experience and MIG welding experience (not coded).
• Valid Health & Safety card.

Responsibilities

• Weld and repair structural steel on site to specification.
• Work on heavy plant equipment and perform MMA/MIG welds as required.
