Job summary

NEOS Engineering Recruitment in Oxford is seeking an experienced Workshop Engineer to service, maintain and repair heavy plant and construction machinery at their Oxford depot. The role covers PDI, fault diagnosis, and preventative maintenance for a diverse range of equipment.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical/hydraulic skills, the ability to work independently, and holds a full UK driving licence. This permanent, full-time position offers progression and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience working on heavy plant and construction machinery.
• Strong mechanical and hydraulic fault-finding abilities.
• Ability to diagnose and repair machinery independently.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of plant equipment.
• Performing PDI checks on machinery prior to hire.
• Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults and carrying out preventative maintenance.
• Ensuring machinery is safe, reliable and ready for customer use.
• Maintaining accurate service records and coordinating with depot teams.
