NEOS Engineering Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Workshop Engineer/Heavy Plant Engineer to join a leading organisation in the construction sector, based in Luton. The role offers a permanent, full-time position with overtime opportunities and benefits.

The ideal candidate will have workshop experience in heavy plant equipment and strong mechanical and hydraulic fault-finding skills. Electrical knowledge is advantageous, and a recognised engineering qualification or apprenticeship

Qualifications

Experience as a Workshop Engineer or similar role.
Experience with heavy plant equipment (cranes, piling rigs, excavators, etc.).
Strong mechanical and hydraulic fault-finding skills.
Electrical knowledge is advantageous.
A recognised engineering qualification or apprenticeship is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on cranes, piling rigs and heavy plant machinery.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
Conduct preventative maintenance and routine inspections.
Work on a range of specialist construction equipment within a workshop environment.
Identify faults and ensure machinery is maintained to a high standard.
Collaborate with an experienced engineering team.
