NEOS Engineering is seeking a Heavy Plant Fitter to service, maintain and repair ADTs and heavy plant machinery around Barnsley/Doncaster. You will diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and work on diesel engines and hydraulic systems, with manufacturer training provided.

This role offers £17.50–£20 per hour plus overtime, with a pension scheme and opportunities to develop within a well-established OEM. A Full UK Driving Licence is required and sponsorship is not available.

Competenze

• Experience working on Construction Plant, Agricultural, Quarrying or similar machinery.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Construction Plant Maintenance, Agricultural Engineering or similar.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Keen to develop their skills and receive manufacturer training.
• Comfortable working in a workshop/depot environment.

NEOS Engineering are working with a well‑known OEM who are looking to add a fitter around Barnsley/Doncaster. This is a great opportunity for a Plant Fitter who wants to develop their knowledge and skillset while working directly with a main manufacturer.

The Role:

• Service, maintenance and repair of ADTs and heavy plant machinery
• Mechanical and electrical fault finding and diagnostics
• Working on diesel engines, hydraulic systems and associated components
• Inspecting and preparing machinery for use
• Working alongside the wider engineering team to ensure equipment is maintained to a high standard
• Manufacturer training provided on ADTs and associated machinery

The Candidate:

• Experience working on Construction Plant, Agricultural, Quarrying or similar machinery
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Construction Plant Maintenance, Agricultural Engineering or similar
• Experience with hydraulics, diesel engines and fault finding
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Keen to develop their skills and receive manufacturer training
• Comfortable working in a workshop/depot environment
