Job summary

NEOS Engineering are recruiting a Plant Inspector to join an established engineering contractor in Aylesbury. You will inspect and maintain a large fleet of earthworks plant and site vehicles, ensuring safety, compliance and readiness for operation.

Ideal candidate has experience in plant maintenance/inspection, NVQ Level 2, CSCS cards and a full UK driving licence. The role offers permanent, full-time employment with benefits and career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining or inspecting heavy plant equipment.
• NVQ Level 2 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent.
• CSCS Green Card and CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to prepare risk assessments and safe systems of work.
• Basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PDIs and routine inspections on earthworks plant.
• Record hours, damage and GET wear with photos.
• Check safety equipment and fluid levels weekly.
• Assist with basic repairs and maintenance.
• Issue permits to work and manage stock in COSHH areas.
