Job summary

Recruit Engineering is looking for an experienced CNC Turner for an ongoing contract in Manchester. Start on days at £22.50 per hour, with a quick uplift to continental shifts (£30 p/h days / £40 p/h nights) as you transition. Immediate start available.

You will set and operate Fanuc CNC turning machines, inspect parts to tight tolerances, and keep tooling and equipment well-maintained on site.

Qualifications

• CNC turning experience is required.
• Fanuc controls experience is essential.
• Experience in a medium to heavy engineering environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC turning machines on Fanuc controls.
• Produce precision components to engineering drawings and tight tolerances.
• Carry out in-process inspection and first-off checks.
• Maintain equipment and tooling to a high standard.
