Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Corby is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead conveyor-system manufacturing on a busy shop floor. You will ensure safety, quality and efficiency while guiding operators and cross‑functional teams.

You will read engineering drawings, oversee BOMs, and champion QHSE practices with a focus on continuous improvement and high workmanship standards.

Qualifications

• Reading engineering drawings and GA layouts.
• Knowledge of BOMs and assembly methods.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan resources effectively to meet daily production targets.
• Ensure products are assembled, inspected and documented in line with SOPs and engineering drawings.
• Lead by example on the shop floor, supporting operators with training and cross-functional skills.
• Champion QHSE standards, carrying out audits, inspections, safety tours and toolbox talks.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 45001, 9001 and 14001 standards.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and ensure the area is always "visit ready".
• Support training plans, ensuring operatives are trained across multiple processes.
• Communicate KPIs, coach team members and recognise strong performance.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding and recommendations for promotions.

The Role

Experience and Attributes

• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GA layouts
• Understanding of BOMs
• Mechanical assembly experience including torque settings and fastening methods
• Awareness of hydraulics and pneumatic's
• Experience in high‑paced manufacturing
• Strong quality inspection skills and a keen eye for detail
• Knowledge of ISO standards
• NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Manufacturing
