Job summary

H&A Group in Belfast is seeking a Gas/Oil Heating Engineer responsible for servicing and response maintenance of NIHE and private properties, mainly in the Belfast area. You will undertake gas/oil maintenance, breakdown repairs, and safety checks, with on-call rotation and flexible hours.

The role requires Gas Safe registration or proven domestic gas servicing experience, a full driving licence, and the ability to work across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Gas Safe registration or experience in servicing domestic gas systems.
• Experience in fault finding on domestic central heating systems and boilers.
• Full Driving Licence.
• Available to carryout call outs (on a rotational basis).
• OFTEC qualified with experience in servicing domestic oil systems.

Responsibilities

• Gas/Oil Maintenance repairs and breakdown repairs.
• Annual Gas/Oil Services in NIHE properties and Private properties.
• Inspections and safety checks on Gas boilers.
• Safety checks and services on Oil appliances.

Working Hours

• – Monday – Friday
• – 8am – 5:30pm
• – On Call Rota
• – Flexibility is required.

Roles & Responsibilities

• – Gas/Oil Maintenance repairs and breakdown repairs
• – Annual Gas/Oil Services in NIHE properties and Private properties
• – Inspections and safety checks on Gas boilers
• – Safety checks and services on Oil appliances

The role is not limited to this job description and the post holder will be required to carry out other duties at the request of Management. Flexibility to cover other office locations may be required.

Essential Criteria

• – Gas Safe registered or with experience in servicing domestic gas systems

• – Full Driving License

• – Valid CSR Card
