Job summary

CFMNI is seeking a skilled plumber to deliver responsive maintenance and repairs across domestic, commercial, and industrial buildings in Northern Ireland. You will work in a fast-paced environment, performing installations, fault finding, and servicing while upholding safety guidelines and company policies.

The role requires experience in domestic and commercial plumbing, a valid CSR card, and a full driving licence.

Qualifications

• Be time served or appropriately qualified and demonstrate relevant experience.
• Previous experience in construction/engineering.
• Knowledge of domestic & commercial plumbing and heating systems.
• Evidence of delivering high levels of customer service.
• Valid CSR Card.
• Full driving licence.
• Gas Safe registered with experience servicing domestic gas systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver plumbing maintenance and repairs in domestic, commercial and industrial buildings.
• Work on void and tenanted properties.
• Fault finding on residential and commercial plumbing and heating systems.
• Install toilets, baths, basins, and hot/cold water storage systems.
• Observe health and safety guidelines and use safety equipment.
• Complete area clean-up and ensure work site remains tidy at end of day.
• Follow client needs and work under instruction to meet contract requirements.
• Provide cross-departmental support as required and perform other duties as needed.

Role Overview

This rolewilloperatewithin a fast-paced environmentandis responsible fordelivering response maintenance repairs, ensuringrepair requests are carried outefficiently and cost-effectively whilst delivering a first-class service to our customer.

This role willprovide a plumbing service for construction and maintenance in domestic,commercial,and industrial buildings, while upholding safety guidelines andcomplying withcodes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Working on void and tenanted properties

• Working with other team members to provide a courteous and considerate service to clients and tenants

• Fault finding on Residential and commercial plumbing and heating systems.

• Repairs, replacements, and servicing of Gas Boilers and associated heating systems.

• Installation of toilets, baths, basins, cold / hot water storage systems, etc.

• Legionella testing

• To ensure areas of work are left clean and tidy at the end of the day

• Working under instruction to meet the needs of the client

• Observe the highest levels of health and safety, and useappropriate safetyequipment

• Ensureaccuratecompletion andtimelysubmission of any relevant site-based or company documentation electronically or paper based as per requirements of the contract

• To perform the jobin accordance withthe company’s policies and procedures

• As and whenrequired, provide support across company departments, and perform any other duties as may bereasonablyrequiredfrom time-to-time.

Essential

• Be time served or appropriately qualified and be able todemonstraterelevant experience

• Knowledge of domestic & commercial plumbing and Heating systems

• Valid CSR Card

• Full driving license

• Gas Saferegisteredwithexperience in servicing domestic gas systems

Preferred

• Experience in the social housing sector

• Experience using a PDA \\ smartphone \\ mobile working device.

• Access NI clearance preferable

• OFTEC Registered
