Job summary

Fusion People Ltd in Ballymena, County Antrim, is recruiting Coach Builders for immediate start on a 4+ month contract. You will assemble mechanical systems and a range of materials for vehicle bodies, using nuts, bolts and rivets, while adhering to safety and quality standards.

The role requires 4+ years on the tools and a Level 3 qualification in a relevant discipline. Overtime is available and training may be provided to support new engineering changes.

Job Title: Coach Builder

Location: Ballymena, County Antrim

Duration: 4+ months

Pay Rates: £30 per hour (UMB)

We are currently recruiting for a number of Coach Builders for a well-established engineering company based in Ballymena, County Antrim.

Our client is looking to expand companywide due to an increased workload throughout the business, we are looking to take on further staff immediately.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the assembly of a variety of mechanical systems.
• Assembling a variety of materials such as metal, wood, laminate and fibreglass components to the vehicles using nuts, bolts and rivets as part of the production process.
• Responsible for the safe operation of plant equipment and hand tools.
• Assembling the product in line with assembly drawings.
• Participation in continuous improvement teams and initiatives.
• Responsible for complying with the H&S, policies and procedures.
• Ensuring that work carried out is up to the set company standard and that all quality sign-offs and procedures are complied with.
• Moving between several operations whilst maintaining high-quality workmanship and efficiency.
• Must be prepared to work overtime when requested by management.
• Undertaking training or retraining associated with the post or introduction of new working practices or engineering changes including the training of others.

Requirements:

• Must have 4+ years on the tools experience.
• Must have a minimum of a Level 3 Qualification within a relevant discipline.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday - 7am to 5pm (38-hour week)
• Overtime available on Fridays.
