Job summary

Wr Hvac is recruiting a Heat Pump Installer to join our team delivering installations across London and the South East. The role is open to experienced plumbers or heating engineers moving into renewable energy, with full manufacturer training and support from seasoned heat pump specialists.

You will install air source heat pumps and related systems on premium residential projects, reading drawings and ensuring top-quality workmanship while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years' experience in plumbing, heating or mechanical installation.
• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating minimum.
• NVQ Level 3 advantageous.
• Strong domestic plumbing and heating installation experience.
• Able to read basic mechanical drawings.
• Full UK driving licence and eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Install air source heat pumps (ASHPs) and associated heating systems.
• Carry out high-quality plumbing and mechanical pipework installations.
• Install heating, cooling and MVHR ventilation systems.
• Work from mechanical drawings and installation schematics.
• Install plant room equipment, pumps and valves.
• Operate on high-end residential properties across London and the South East.
• Support experienced Heat Pump Engineers and Supervisors.
• Ensure installations meet high workmanship and presentation standards.
• Liaise with customers, contractors and site management.
• Follow health and safety procedures and meet project deadlines.

Education

NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating

Heat Pump Installer

London & South East England

£45,000 Basic + £1,000-£5,000 Annual Bonus

We're recruiting a Heat Pump Engineer / Mechanical Installer for an established renewable heating contractor delivering high-quality installations across London and the South East.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Plumber or Heating Engineer looking to move into renewable energy, with full manufacturer training and the opportunity to work alongside experienced heat pump specialists.

You'll work on high-specification residential properties and selected commercial projects, installing advanced heating, cooling and ventilation systems.

Previous heat pump experience is not essential. Experienced plumbers and heating installers are encouraged to apply.

The Role

• Install air source heat pumps (ASHPs) and associated heating systems
• Carry out high-quality plumbing and mechanical pipework installations
• Install heating, cooling and MVHR ventilation systems

• Install plant room equipment, pumps, valves and associated components

The Candidate

• 1-3+ years' experience in plumbing, heating or mechanical installation
• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating minimum
• NVQ Level 3 advantageous
• Strong domestic plumbing and heating installation experience
• Good understanding of pipework, heating systems and hydraulics
• Able to read basic mechanical drawings
• High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
• Keen to learn heat pump installation and renewable heating technology
• Previous ASHP installation experience advantageous but not essential
• Full UK driving licence
• Eligible to work in the UK

Package

• £35,000-£45,000 basic salary
• £1,000-£5,000 annual performance bonus, subject to performance
