Job summary

Wr HVAC is recruiting a Heat Pump Service Engineer for a specialist manufacturer of low-carbon heat pump and heat recovery systems. This field-based role focuses on planned preventative maintenance with no call-out rota, providing a better work-life balance.

You'll carry out scheduled maintenance, service indoor heat pumps and associated hot water systems, perform health checks and document reports. A full UK driving license and customer-facing skills are essential, with supplier training and

Qualifications

• Experience with heat pumps and HVAC service maintenance.
• Knowledge of refrigeration and electrical fault-finding.
• F-Gas qualifications are advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned maintenance on heat pump systems.
• Service indoor heat pumps and associated hot water systems.
• Complete routine system health checks.
• Inspect compressors, fans, controls and refrigeration components.
• Check water temperatures, pressures and system performance.
• Inspect ventilation and heat recovery components.
• Identify potential faults before they cause system failures.
• Complete service reports and maintenance documentation.
• Liaise with customers and provide basic technical advice.
• Work across residential and commercial installations.

Field Based

£40,000-£50,000 + Van + Package

Monday-Friday | No Call-Out

We're recruiting a Heat Pump Service Engineer for a specialist manufacturer of low-carbon heat pump and heat recovery systems.

This is a particularly attractive service role for an engineer looking for a better work-life balance. The position is focused on planned preventative maintenance, with no call-out rota and no reactive breakdown work.

The Role

• Carry out planned maintenance on heat pump systems
• Service indoor heat pumps and associated hot water systems
• Complete routine system health checks
• Inspect compressors, fans, controls and refrigeration components
• Check water temperatures, pressures and system performance
• Inspect ventilation and heat recovery components
• Identify potential faults before they cause system failures
• Complete service reports and maintenance documentation
• Liaise with customers and provide basic technical advice
• Work across residential and commercial installations

The Candidate

• Heat pump, refrigeration, air conditioning or HVAC background
• Strong service and maintenance experience
• Good refrigeration and electrical fault-finding knowledge
• F-Gas advantageous
• Plumbing/heating knowledge beneficial
• Comfortable working independently
• Good customer-facing skills
• Full UK driving licence

The Opportunity

You'll work directly with specialist heat pump technology, with manufacturer training and the opportunity to develop into a Senior Heat Pump Engineer / Technical Support Engineer.
