Aira is seeking experienced domestic heating installers to join our growing team as Heat Pump Engineers. You will deliver high-quality heat pump installations, working safely and efficiently while leading customer-focused service.

We value applicants with boiler or heat pump experience and are eager to train you at the Aira Academy to become an elite Heat Pump Engineer within the UK’s fastest growing heat pump installer network.

Qualifications

• We will provide all necessary Air Source Heat Pump training at our own Aira Academy.
• We need you to have the following qualifications to join our team.
• Experience with boilers or heat pumps, plus hot water cylinders and radiators.

Responsibilities

• Installing the latest Aira heat pumps, cylinders, and radiators to help families cut costs and emissions.
• Work with designers to ensure efficient, reliable systems, with surveys and diagrams provided.
• Participate in training at the Aira Academy to become an elite Heat Pump Engineer and grow with the company.
• Join a Europe-wide team of Engineers as part of the Aira family.

Education

NVQ Level 2 plumbing

Gas Safe registered

Experience installing boilers or air source heat pumps

Experience installing hot water cylinders and radiators

NVQ Level 3 plumbing

WRAS qualifications

Gas qualifications

We’re currently looking for experienced domestic heating installers to join our team of Clean Energy Technicians. Even if you’ve never fitted a heat pump before, you may already have the skills we’re looking for.

You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality heat pump installations safely and efficiently, while leading your team to provide outstanding customer service.

What you’ll be doing as a Heat Pump Engineer

• Helping families lower their costs and carbon footprint by installing the very latest Aira heat pumps, cylinders, and radiators.
• Working closely with our designers to ensure that you will only be fitting efficient, reliable systems. All your jobs will have been properly surveyed, and you’ll be given schematic diagrams for every installation.
• Training at the Aira Academy to become an elite Heat Pump Engineer, giving you the opportunity for development and professional growth with the UK’s fastest growing Heat Pump installer.
• Joining a Europe-Wide team of Engineers as part of the Aira family.

What we would like you to have as a Heat Pump Engineer

We will provide all necessary Air Source Heat Pump training at our own Aira Academy, however we need you to have the following:

• NVQ level 2 plumbing (or equivalent)
• Gas Qualifications / Gas Safe registered
• Experience installing boilers or air source heat pumps
• Experience installing hot water cylinders and radiators

Any of the following would be good:

• NVQ Level 3 plumbing (or equivalent)
• WRAS Qualifications (water regs)
• Gas Qualifications
• Unvented hot water systems (part G)
• Level 3 heat pump system design
• F-Gas Category 1
