Job summary

Aira is hiring experienced domestic heating installers to join our Clean Energy Technicians. You will deliver high-quality heat pump installations safely and efficiently, leading your team to provide outstanding customer service.

We provide NVQ plumbing training at the Aira Academy, Gas Safe qualifications, and ongoing development as part of the UK’s fastest growing heat pump installer. A company van, tools, pension, and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 2 plumbing (or equivalent)
• Gas Qualifications / Gas Safe registered
• Experience installing boilers or air source heat pumps
• Experience installing hot water cylinders and radiators
• NVQ Level 3 plumbing (or equivalent)
• WRAS Qualifications (water regs)
• Gas Qualifications
• Unvented hot water systems (part G)
• Level 3 heat pump system design
• F-Gas Category 1

Responsibilities

• Install the very latest Aira heat pumps, cylinders and radiators.
• Work with designers to ensure efficient, reliable systems with proper surveys.
• Train at the Aira Academy to become an elite Heat Pump Engineer.
• Join a Europe-wide team of Engineers as part of the Aira family.

Education

We're currently looking for experienced domestic heating installers to join our team of Clean Energy Technicians. Even if you've never fitted a heat pump before, you may already have the skills we're looking for.

You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality heat pump installations safely and efficiently, while leading your team to provide outstanding customer service.

What You'll Be Doing As a Heat Pump Engineer

• You'll be helping families lower their costs and carbon footprint by installing the very latest Aira heat pumps, cylinders, and radiators.
• You'll work closely with our designers to make sure that you'll only be fitting efficient, reliable systems. All your jobs will have been properly surveyed, and you'll be given schematic diagrams for every installation.
• You'll train at the Aira Academy to become an elite Heat Pump Engineer, giving you the opportunity for development and professional growth with the UK's fastest growing Heat Pump installer.
• You'll be joining a Europe-Wide team of Engineers as part of the Aira family.

What we would like you to have as a Heat Pump Engineer

We will provide all necessary Air Source Heat Pump training at our own Aira Academy, however we need you to have the following:

NVQ level 2 plumbing (or equivalent)

• Gas Qualifications / Gas Safe registered
• Experience installing boilers or air source heat pumps
• Experience installing hot water cylinders and radiators

Any of the following would be good;

• NVQ Level 3 plumbing (or equivalent)
• WRAS Qualifications (water regs)
• Gas Qualifications
• Unvented hot water systems (part G)
• Level 3 heat pump system design
• F-Gas Category 1
