Job summary

Aira is hiring experienced domestic heating installers to join our Clean Energy Technician team in the UK. You will deliver high-quality heat pump installations safely and efficiently, guiding your team to provide outstanding customer service.

We offer extensive training at the Aira Academy to help you become an elite Heat Pump Engineer, with development opportunities as part of the fastest growing heat pump installer network in Europe.

Qualifications

• Must have NVQ plumbing qualifications or equivalent, plus gas safe registration.
• Experience installing boilers or air source heat pumps and radiators.
• Willingness to complete Aira Academy training for Heat Pump Engineer role.

Responsibilities

• Install latest Aira heat pumps, cylinders and radiators safely and efficiently.
• Work from surveyed diagrams and collaborate with designers for reliable systems.
• Lead and develop through Aira Academy training and progression pathways.
• Join a Europe-wide team of engineers within the Aira family.

You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality heat pump installations safely and efficiently, while leading your team to provide outstanding customer service.

What you'll be doing as a Heat Pump Engineer

• Helping families lower their costs and carbon footprint by installing the very latest Aira heat pumps, cylinders, and radiators.
• Working closely with our designers to ensure that you'll only be fitting efficient, reliable systems. All your jobs will have been properly surveyed, and you'll be given schematic diagrams for every installation.
• Training at the Aira Academy to become an elite Heat Pump Engineer, providing opportunities for development and professional growth with the UK's fastest growing Heat Pump installer.
• Joining a Europe-wide team of engineers as part of the Aira family.

What we would like you to have as a Heat Pump Engineer

We will provide all necessary Air Source Heat Pump training at our own Aira Academy, however, we need you to have the following:

• NVQ level 2 plumbing (or equivalent)
• Gas Qualifications / Gas Safe registered
• Experience installing boilers or air source heat pumps
• Experience installing hot water cylinders and radiators

Any of the following would be good:

• NVQ Level 3 plumbing (or equivalent)
• WRAS Qualifications (water regs)
• Gas Qualifications
• Unvented hot water systems (part G)
• Level 3 heat pump system design
• F-Gas Category 1
