Job summary

AWD Recruitment is seeking an Energy Compliance Manager in the Liverpool area. The role focuses on regulatory compliance, performance improvement and service optimisation across heat network services.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external clients to review performance, support reporting, and drive practical improvements. Applicants should have energy/utilities/regulatory compliance experience.

Qualifications

Understanding of heat network regulation and ongoing learning.
Experience in energy management, regulated utilities, housing, property management or related area.
Strong analytical skills focusing on quality, performance and continuous improvement.
Proven ability to deliver service improvements and drive change.
Confident communication with internal teams, senior stakeholders and external clients.

Responsibilities

Regulatory Compliance: Shape the organisation to achieve and maintain heat network compliance.
Performance Monitoring: Review managed heat networks to identify optimisation opportunities and report clearly.
Client Consultancy: Support new and existing clients and contribute to proposals.
Training Support: Design and deliver training and CPD internally and for clients.
Sector Knowledge: Stay updated on evolving regulations and industry developments.
Service Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve quality, delivery and processes.
Commercial Input: Support sound commercial decisions with business awareness.
Senior Team Contribution: Collaborate across the organisation and support change.
