Job summary

AWD online is seeking an Energy Compliance Manager to develop regulatory compliance, performance and service improvement across managed heat network services. You will review performance with internal teams and clients, shaping reporting and practical improvements to respond to evolving heat network regulation.

In this role, you’ll contribute to client consultancy, new business proposals and training while building sector knowledge in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Understanding of heat network regulation with desire to develop knowledge
• Experience in energy management, regulated utilities, metering/billing, housing or property management
• Strong analytical skills focused on quality, performance and continuous improvement
• Experience delivering service improvements and driving change
• Confident communication with internal teams, stakeholders and clients
• Good commercial awareness for sound business decisions
• Self-motivated, delivery focused, able to work collaboratively or independently
• Positive, solutions-focused approach to improve services

Responsibilities

• Regulatory Compliance: Support and shape compliance with new heat network regulations
• Performance Monitoring: Review and monitor heat network services to identify optimisation opportunities
• Client Consultancy: Provide practical support to clients and contribute to proposals
• Training Support: Design and deliver internal and client CPD sessions
• Sector Knowledge: Stay updated on regulations and developments in the sector
• Service Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve quality and delivery
• Commercial Input: Support sound commercial decisions with business insight
• Senior Team Contribution: Engage with management discussions and cross-organisational collaboration
