Job summary

Richmond Bede Village is seeking a Head of Hospitality to lead our hospitality, catering and support services at the Richmond Village Bede site. You will manage restaurants, ensure high-quality meals, and drive customer-focused service across the village.

The role requires strong leadership, experience in hospitality or catering within care settings, and a proactive approach to staff development and event coordination. A DBS check is required and costs are covered by the employer.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a team in hospitality or catering, preferably in a care setting.
• Self-motivated with excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Active team leader who can train, supervise and develop staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage, train and develop hospitality staff and keep records.
• Oversee all hospitality operations and service quality.
• Ensure nutritious meals are delivered to residents.
• Lead on staff management, rosters, recruitment and appraisals.
• Coordinate with other departments for events.
• Drive promotions to maximise village revenue.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Oversee housekeeping and laundry services.
