Hidden Hearing is a leading UK provider of private hearing healthcare, seeking a Hearing Aid Audiologist in Glasgow. The role covers the Glasgow area with visits to patients at home, offering comprehensive hearing assessments and premium after-sales service.

The post is permanent, 37.5 hours/week, Monday–Friday, with a competitive salary (£40,000 base) plus uncapped commission and bonuses, car allowance or company car, private health cover, and generous leave.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered or eligible for HCPC registration.
• Full driving licence.
• Experience performing hearing assessments and fittings.

Responsibilities

• Carry out comprehensive hearing assessments and recommend suitable hearing solutions.
• Complete audiograms and patient records accurately in the CMS system.
• Adhere to standard consultation practices and company procedures.
• Provide premium after-sales service and respond to service calls promptly.
• Maintain HCPC CPD compliance and up-to-date knowledge.

Job description

Hidden Hearing is one of the UK’s leading expert providers of private hearing healthcare, providing life‑changing hearing healthcare. We are looking for a Hearing Aid Audiologist (HCPC Qualified) in the Glasgow area. This role will be based in the heart of the community covering the Glasgow area and visiting patients in their own homes.

You will have the support of a designated diary coordinator and a supportive team of managers. You will be employed on a permanent contract, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm, with some flexibility with working hours in accordance with business needs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out comprehensive hearing assessments and provide and sell the most appropriate hearing solutions, within specified time scales in accordance with the HCPC standards of performance, conduct and ethics, and BSHAA code of practice and guidelines
• Complete audiograms and customer records on the Company’s CMS system accurately and synchronise daily
• Adhere to company working practices including the standard consultation
• Provide premium after‑sales service by responding to service calls to resolve problems or queries in a timely and professional manner
• Keep knowledge and skills up to date in line with the HCPC CPD requirements

Authorities

• Qualified HAD or Pre‑Registered HAD
• Hold current HCPC registration
• Be a member or be prepared to become a member of BSHAA
• IT skills at a level that enables the use of the company systems and audiometry equipment
• Time and job management abilities to allow a well‑planned and structured approach to workload
• Hold current driving licence
