Job summary

Audika GB in Colchester seeks a HCPC-qualified Hearing Aid Audiologist to join our Colchester hearing centre on a permanent basis. The role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9:00–17:00, with a £40,000 basic salary plus uncapped commission and bonuses and a car allowance from £5,328 per year or a company car.

You will assess hearing, fit and sell hearing solutions, maintain CMS records, and provide excellent after-sales service.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered Hearing Aid Audiologist (HAD) or pre-registered HAD.
• Must hold current HCPC registration.
• Be a member or willing to join BSHAA.
• IT skills for CMS and audiometry equipment.
• Driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out comprehensive hearing assessments and provide/advise on hearing solutions.
• Complete audiograms and customer records in the CMS accurately.
• Adhere to company working practices and standard consultations.
• Provide premium after-sales service and respond to service calls promptly.
• Keep knowledge up to date with HCPC CPD requirements.

Job description

We are one of the UK’s leading expert providers of private hearing healthcare, providing life changing hearing healthcare. We are looking for a Hearing Aid Audiologist (HCPC Qualified) to work in our Colchester hearing centre.

• Basic salary - £40,000 with rewarding uncapped commission payable monthly and opportunity to earn both quarterly and annual bonuses

You will have the support of a designated diary coordinator and supportive team of managers. You will be employed on a permanent contract, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm, although some flexibility with working hours in accordance with business needs will be required.

Responsibilities

• To carry out our comprehensive hearing assessments and provide and sell the most appropriate hearing solutions, within specified time scales in accordance with the HCPC standards of performance, conduct and ethics, and BSHAA code of practice and guidelines
• Complete audiograms and customer records on the Company’s CMS system accurately and synchronise daily
• Adhere to company working practices including the standard consultation
• Provide premium after sales service by responding to service calls to resolve problems or queries, in a timely and professional manner.
• Keep knowledge and skills up to date in line with the HCPC CPD requirements

Requirements

• Qualified HAD or Pre-Registered HAD
• Hold current HCPC registration
• Be a member or be prepared to become a member of BSHAA
• IT skills at a level that enables the use of the company systems and audiometry equipment
• Time and job management abilities to allow a well-planned and structured approach to workload
• Hold current driving licence
