Job summary

GreenSquareAccord is seeking a Healthy Homes Adviser to join our Damp, Mould & Condensation Team, covering Gloucester and Oxfordshire. You will visit customers in their homes, advising on ventilation, heating, humidity, and condensation prevention to improve living conditions.

You will also perform mould cleaning, identify hazards, report issues, and coordinate appointments. A driving licence and car are required; social housing experience and knowledge of HHSRS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience working in social housing in a customer-facing environment.
• Knowledge of the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS).
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisation and prioritisation abilities.
• Confidence working independently with a varied workload.
• Experience using Microsoft Office and MRI or similar digital systems.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car for work.

Responsibilities

• Visiting customers in their homes across Gloucester and Oxfordshire.
• Providing practical advice on ventilation, heating, humidity and preventing condensation.
• Carrying out mould cleaning and treatment to small, affected areas.
• Identifying property hazards or maintenance issues and reporting them promptly.
• Escalating complex cases to Surveyors for further investigation.
• Planning and managing your own appointments and workload.
• Following up repairs and ensuring actions are completed.
• Maintaining accurate records using our management systems.
• Identifying safeguarding or wellbeing concerns and working with colleagues to provide the right support.
