Job summary

Eliot Community Human Services, Inc. seeks a Healthy Families Supervisor to lead our MSPCC division and support first-time parents in a nurturing, strength-based program.

You will supervise Home Visitors, promote reflective supervision, and connect families with services while fostering culturally responsive care and family well‑being. Salary ranges reflect the posted amount and local standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in home visiting or family-centered services.
• Experience supervising diverse staff in a demanding work environment.
• Driver's license and vehicle are required.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical, administrative and reflective supervision to assigned Home Visitors.
• Conduct quality assurance activities including co-visits, home visit observations and phone calls with families.
• Connect families to community services to support growth and family functioning.
• Develop relationships with staff and families using motivational interviewing and trauma-informed care.
• Plan and co-facilitate parent support and parent-child groups as needed.

Eliot is seeking a passionate Healthy Families Supervisor to join our Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (MSPCC) division. You'll be working with our Healthy Families program, a pregnancy and parenting education initiative designed to help young, first-time parents (up to 23 years old) to create a stable, nurturing environment for their child.

The ideal candidate brings understanding about child development, the ability to provide reflective supervision, and culturally responsive care, with a passion for empowering diverse families. You will support staff through modeling and teaching strength-based, trauma-informed care.

Responsibilities :

• Provide clinical, administrative and reflective supervision to assigned Home Visitors.
• Conduct quality assurance activities including co-visits, home visit observations and phone calls with families.
• Ensure families connect with the necessary community services to facilitate children’s growth and development, parent’s own health and wellness, and improve family functioning.
• Develop effective relationships with staff and families through utilization of motivational interviewing skills, modeling difficult conversations, and the provision of supportive, concrete services.
• Plan and co-facilitate parent support and parent-child interaction groups, as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• Experience with family-centered and strength-based services in a home visiting model
• Experience in supervising diverse staff and providing support in a demanding work environment
• Driver's license and vehicle
• Bilingual in Spanish is prefered
• BA degree preferred

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

Annual Salary

$50,000-$57,500 USD
