Early Years Alliance in Luton is recruiting a Healthy Babies Support Worker to deliver antenatal to five years services as part of the Flying Start/Best Start Family Hub. You will support new parents, promote healthy infant feeding practices and work across sites in Luton with flexible delivery including outreach and virtual sessions.

The role emphasizes safeguarding, strong communication with health and social care partners, and commitment to engaging diverse communities to improve life chances

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 Early Years Care and Education or equivalent qualification, or in-depth proven experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both in person and in writing, with professionals and families.
• Experience of a successful multi-agency approach with professionals, early help and social care teams.

Responsabilités

• Deliver antenatal and postnatal group sessions and one-to-one parent support at Family Hub sites and outreach/virtual delivery.
• Promote the 1001 critical days and work with midwifery and health visiting services.
• Plan and deliver high-quality universal sessions and evaluate activities to engage parents and their children.
